Google Antigravity

Agent-first dev platform · Google

Google's agent-first development platform: an app for running agents in parallel, a CLI, IDE extensions, a standalone IDE and an SDK.

What it is

Antigravity is Google's agent-first development platform. The Antigravity App is a desktop app for launching and inspecting agents that work in parallel across projects and Git worktrees; the CLI runs in local shells, remote environments and SSH sessions; IDE extensions add agents to existing editors; and a Python SDK supports custom agents. A separate Antigravity IDE is also documented.

  • CLI: Local, SSH and headless source ↗
  • Antigravity IDE: Full agentic IDE source ↗

What it's best at

  • Running several agents in parallel and reviewing their output
  • Browser testing through a browser subagent
  • Teams already in Google tooling
  • Adding MCP servers from the MCP Store

How it works

  1. Create tasks in the app and let agents work in parallel in separate Git worktrees.
  2. Add MCP servers from the MCP Store or a config file (~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json or .agents/mcp_config.json).
  3. Use /browser in the Antigravity App to send a browser subagent to drive Chrome; the Antigravity IDE has its own browser documentation.
  4. Antigravity 2.0 and the Antigravity CLI (launched May 19, 2026) added subagents, hooks, scheduled tasks and asynchronous task management.

Ideal use cases

  • Run parallel agents on separate parts of a site or app
  • Have a browser subagent click through a signup flow before release
  • Connect ClickUp, Semrush or FactSet through their documented Antigravity setups

Limits

  • The /browser subagent is documented for the Antigravity App; check the IDE's own browser docs if you work there.
  • The Free plan is $0; Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra raise rate limits, per Google's overview.

How it pairs with your tools

  • ClickUp: ClickUp setup steps for Antigravity
  • Semrush: Semrush setup for Antigravity 2.0 and the Antigravity CLI
  • Railway: Railway Antigravity plugin
  • FactSet: Listed as an MCP client

Also named as a supported client in the official docs of: Wolfram.
