Steps

1Notion Holds the calendar and approval status MCP Confirmed · source ↗
2Claude Drafts posts per channel AI platform Confirmed
3You Approve or edit each post, then schedule it yourself Human step Confirmed

Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.

Human approval

Nothing posts without your approval.

Watch out for

Keep the human approval step: Nothing posts without your approval.

Starter prompt

Goal: Post consistently without anything going out unreviewed. Tools involved: Notion, Claude. Your part: holds the calendar and approval status; drafts posts per channel. Work step by step, show me each draft or proposed change, and wait for my approval before anything is sent, published, signed, filed or changed in a live system.

What we checked (2026-10-17)

  • Notion MCP works with your own Notion access, so Claude can add drafts to a database and set fields such as Channel, Draft and Status.
  • Scheduling. We didn’t wire this to a scheduler. Notion’s MCP doesn’t post to social networks, so you schedule approved posts in the tool you already use. That keeps a person between the queue and the publish button.
  • Pricing. Notion has a $0 plan. Plus is $10 per member per month.

Set it up

  1. Create a Notion database with Title, Channel, Publish date, Draft, Status (Idea, Draft, Approved, Scheduled) and Source link.
  2. Give Claude the exact database link and tell it not to touch other pages.
  3. Ask Claude to draft posts for next week’s calendar entries and set them to Draft. Tell it never to set Approved or Scheduled.
  4. Edit each draft and set it to Approved yourself.
  5. Schedule approved posts in your social tool and set them to Scheduled.

If a post needs a fact check, link the source in the row before approving.
