Pull data lookups into research notes
Research & market intelligence · checked 2026-10-17
In Antigravity or Gemini, connect Wolfram over MCP for curated data (conversions, statistics, constants) and drop the results into your research notes with the query shown.

Goal
Cite computed facts in research instead of half-remembered ones.
Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.
Human approval
You spot-check before relying on results.
Watch out for
Keep the human approval step: You spot-check before relying on results.
Starter prompt
Goal: Cite computed facts in research instead of half-remembered ones. Tools involved: Wolfram, Gemini. Your part: answers data lookups over mcp; writes the notes with each query and result. Work step by step, show me each draft or proposed change, and wait for my approval before anything is sent, published, signed, filed or changed in a live system.

Wolfram: pairing not named in vendor docs
Computed from the MCP and API steps only: "Confirmed" needs the tool's docs to name the platform and the platform to support the connection. Browser, upload and human steps work from any platform.
What we checked
Wolfram Cloud MCP is at https://agenttools.wolfram.com/mcp. Wolfram says it costs nothing and needs no authentication, and documents setup for Antigravity among other clients. We didn’t find a paid tier for the cloud server, so the data lookups here don’t need a Wolfram|Alpha plan.
Wolfram|Alpha Pro ($5 a month, or Pro Premium at $8.25, both billed annually; checked 2026-10-17) adds step-by-step solutions and longer computation time on the Wolfram|Alpha site. It isn’t needed for MCP lookups.
Gemini’s role is writing the note: the query, the result and where it came from.
Set it up
Add the Wolfram Cloud MCP server to Antigravity or your Gemini client.
Ask for the lookup in plain language, for example a unit conversion, a population figure or a physical constant.
Have Gemini write the result into your notes with the exact query shown.
Spot-check a few results on wolframalpha.com before you rely on them, and date any figure that changes over time.
