Watch out for
Keep the human approval step: You confirm tasks before they are created.
Starter prompt
Goal: No more action items lost in a transcript. Tools involved: Otter, Claude, ClickUp. Your part: fetches the meeting transcript through otter’s mcp server; extracts action items with owners and dates; creates the tasks with assignees and due dates through clickup’s mcp server. Work step by step, show me each draft or proposed change, and wait for my approval before anything is sent, published, signed, filed or changed in a live system.

Computed from the MCP and API steps only: "Confirmed" needs the tool's docs to name the platform and the platform to support the connection. Browser, upload and human steps work from any platform.
What we checked (2026-10-17)
Otter MCP has Search and Fetch tools. Fetch returns the full transcript, so you don’t need to export files. It signs in with OAuth and has per-tool permissions. We didn’t find a plan requirement. Otter Basic is $0 with 300 minutes a month.
ClickUp MCP works on all ClickUp plans and creates tasks with assignees, priorities and due dates.
Set it up
Connect Otter and ClickUp to Claude.
After a meeting, ask Claude to fetch the transcript and list action items in a table with the task, owner, due date and the quote it came from.
Fix owners and dates. Transcripts often say “next week” or “I’ll look into it”, and those need a real person and a real date.
Confirm the list, then have Claude create the tasks in the right ClickUp list.
