When a webinar recording is published, an n8n Webhook node receives its URL, an HTTP Request node calls the OpusClip API to create a clipping project, and OpusClip’s signed webhook tells you when clips are ready for review.

Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.

What we checked (2026-10-17)
n8n Webhook node has test and production URLs. It can require Basic, Header or JWT auth from whatever calls it, such as your webinar platform.
OpusClip create project takes the recording URL. It imports public videos from YouTube, Zoom, Vimeo, Google Drive and others. The API needs a Pro (Beta), Max or Business plan, allows 30 requests a minute, and Pro Beta and Max include 15 hours of API usage a month.
Webhook signature. OpusClip signs each webhook with your organization’s API secret key. If you have several keys, it uses the first one created, so keep that key active. Verify the signature in n8n before trusting the payload.
Set it up
Create the n8n workflow: Webhook (with header auth), then HTTP Request to OpusClip.
Send a test recording URL and check that the project appears in OpusClip.
Add a second Webhook workflow for OpusClip’s notification, verify the signature, and send yourself a message with the project link.
