Have Claude run a Gumloop lead-research agent
Sales, CRM & outreach · checked 2026-10-17
Build a lead-research agent in Gumloop once, then start it from Claude over Gumloop's MCP server. The agent researches a list of companies with its web search and fetch abilities; you review the results before anything goes into HubSpot.

Computed from the MCP and API steps only: "Confirmed" needs the tool's docs to name the platform and the platform to support the connection. Browser, upload and human steps work from any platform.
What we checked (2026-10-17)
Gumloop runs a remote MCP server with 46 tools that let an MCP client such as Claude create, configure and manage Gumloop agents and their sessions. You need a Gumloop API key from your profile settings, and the server handles OAuth the first time you connect. Gumloop agents have Web Search and Web Fetch abilities switched on by default, and each task an agent runs is its own conversation with its own credit cost. Pro starts at $37 a month with 20k credits and a 14-day trial (checked 2026-10-17); research runs on long lists use credits quickly, so test on ten companies first.
Set it up
In Gumloop, build an agent with a short brief: which facts to find per company (size, location, recent news, likely buyer) and the table columns you want back.
In Claude, add the Gumloop MCP server under Settings > Connectors.
Paste a short list of companies and ask Claude to run the agent and return the table.
Ask Claude to flag rows where sources disagree or are missing.
Review the table yourself and import only approved rows into HubSpot.
