What we checked (2026-10-17)

Wispr Flow turns speech into written text in every app on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, and cleans up filler words, repetitions and mid-sentence corrections as you speak. Its free plan on Mac and Windows has a 2,000-word weekly allowance; Pro is $15 per user per month or $144 per user per year with unlimited dictation (checked 2026-10-17). Because Flow already removes filler, the ChatGPT step is optional for short replies; it earns its place on long threads where it is easy to miss a question.
