Independent reviews. IonBin has no partnerships with the tools on this page and was not paid for these listings. Our evaluations are our own, based on public documentation and our research. Product names are trademarks of their owners and are used for identification only. How disclosure works.
How IonBin makes money
IonBin is free to read. Every tool on the site is in one of three states, and each page tells you which one applies before you click any link to the tool.
Today: 122 tools are independent (no partnership), 0 have an affiliate partnership and 0 are sponsors.
Our evaluations are based on public documentation and our research. A page says a tool was hands-on tested only when that tool’s record shows a test date.
1. Independent (no partnership)
This is the default for every brand. The page shows an Independent review note near the top: IonBin has no partnership with the tool and was not paid for the page. Links to the tool are plain links, never affiliate links. Applying to a vendor’s affiliate program doesn’t change this. A tool stays independent until a program approves IonBin.
2. Affiliate partnership
When a vendor’s program approves IonBin, its links may become affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, IonBin may earn a commission, at no cost to you. Each affiliate link has its own disclosure immediately before it, for example: “IonBin is an affiliate of [Tool] and may earn a commission, at no cost to you; this doesn’t change our evaluation.” If the program requires specific attribution wording, we show only the exact text the program approved, and we never claim permission we don’t have in writing.
3. Sponsored placements
Paid bookings are not open. Planned formats include an IonBin’s Brightest spot on a use-case page, a newsletter block and a sitewide bar. Every paid unit must carry a visible Sponsored label, and its links use rel="sponsored". Sponsors can’t buy a verdict, a rating or a position in our rankings. Unsold slots show IonBin’s own house ads. Paid placements never appear on wiki, workflow or build-guide pages.
Reviews on Drew's channels
When Drew reviews a tool on LinkedIn, X or other channels as part of a paid deal, it's disclosed verbally and on screen at the start, in the description, and with the platform's paid-partnership tool.
Trademarks
Product names are trademarks of their owners and are used for identification and review only. Some brands restrict how their names may be used in page titles, metadata and navigation; we follow those rules in every state above.
What never changes
- Editorial rankings and verdicts are not for sale.
- We don't show a price without the date we checked it.
- We don't show star ratings without a real review.
- Tax, legal and finance pages carry a not-advice notice.
- Fast-track review is not open. If offered, it will affect queue priority only.
