Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.

Starter prompt

Goal: Send a sharp follow-up within the hour. Tools involved: Wave, Claude, HubSpot. Your part: records the call; claude reads the summary and action items through wave’s mcp server; drafts the follow-up email and a crm note; stores the approved note on the contact through hubspot’s remote mcp server. Work step by step, show me each draft or proposed change, and wait for my approval before anything is sent, published, signed, filed or changed in a live system.

What we checked (2026-10-17)

  • Wave MCP. Wave runs a remote MCP server that signs in with OAuth. It has 18 tools. Read tools include search_sessions, list_sessions, get_transcript and get_action_items, so Claude can read a call’s summary, transcript and action items. Write tools only manage action items, folders and sharing. The MCP can’t edit recordings or transcripts, and it can’t delete sessions. Sessions someone shared with you are read-only.
  • Wave pricing. Free covers 30 minutes a month. Pro costs $6.67 a month billed annually ($80 a year) or $15 monthly.
  • HubSpot remote MCP can read and write CRM records and activities, including notes. If your account has Sensitive Data turned on, activity data is blocked.

Set it up

  1. Connect Wave and HubSpot to Claude.
  2. After the call, ask Claude to read that session’s summary and action items and to draft the follow-up email.
  3. Edit the draft and send it from your own mail client.
  4. Approve the CRM note, then let Claude log it on the contact. Check that the note shows up on the right record.
