Pull the call transcript from Fireflies through its MCP server, have your AI platform extract the summary and next steps, and log them in HubSpot or Pipedrive through their MCP servers.

Goal
Keep the CRM current without typing up notes after every call.
Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.
Human approval
You confirm the note before it is written to the CRM. Record calls only with consent.
Watch out for
Keep the human approval step: You confirm the note before it is written to the CRM. Record calls only with consent.
Starter prompt
Goal: Keep the CRM current without typing up notes after every call. Tools involved: Fireflies.ai, HubSpot, Pipedrive (alternative). Your part: returns the transcript and action items; writes a crm note and next-step tasks; logs the note and creates tasks. Work step by step, show me each draft or proposed change, and wait for my approval before anything is sent, published, signed, filed or changed in a live system.

What we checked
Fireflies MCP gives AI tools access to transcripts, summaries, action items and insights. The remote server uses OAuth with your Fireflies account, and Fireflies lists an active account and an MCP-capable client as prerequisites.
HubSpot MCP can create and edit CRM records and activities (calls, emails, meetings, notes and tasks), within the connected user’s permissions. If your HubSpot account has Sensitive Data turned on, activities and conversation data are blocked from the MCP server.
Pipedrive MCP works on every Pipedrive plan, with usage subject to your plan’s token limits. Its own example prompt is “Here are my notes from today’s call. Create a deal, contact and follow-up activity.” It can only see and change what your Pipedrive user can, and every action is recorded in the change log.
Write access in your AI client. Whether your client can write depends on its plan and settings. In ChatGPT, workspace admins control plugin and MCP access, and a “writes” approval mode asks before any tool that isn’t marked read-only.
Set it up
Connect Fireflies and your CRM in the same AI client.
After a call, ask for a short note and next steps with owners and dates.
Read the note, fix anything wrong, then let the agent save it. Record calls only with consent.
