What we checked

Bright Data’s MCP server includes search_engine, which scrapes results from Google, Bing or Yandex, returning JSON for Google and Markdown for the others, with paging. It also has scrape_as_markdown for fetching a single page as Markdown through Bright Data’s unlocker, and batch versions of both that take up to 10 queries or pages at once. Bright Data offers 5,000 free MCP requests a month. This workflow looks at classic search results only. It doesn’t check what AI answer engines say about you; the AI search visibility audit covers that.

Set it up

  1. Connect Bright Data’s MCP server and keep the search and scrape tools turned on.
  2. Give your AI platform 5 to 10 key searches and ask who ranks in the top results for each.
  3. Ask it to fetch the top pages and compare their angle, depth and format.
  4. Ask for a content brief that covers the gaps you see.
  5. Approve or edit the brief before anyone writes.
