Create Freshdesk tickets from a reviewed list with an AI client
Customer support · checked 2026-10-18
You paste a list of customer issues, Claude drafts one Freshdesk ticket per issue, and only after you approve the list does it create the tickets through Freshworks' MCP server.

Goal
Turn a batch of issues from calls or emails into tracked tickets without retyping them.
Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.
Human approval
No ticket is created until you approve the list.
Watch out for
Every successful tool call counts as an action, and included actions are capped per year by plan (1,200 on Growth, 6,000 on Pro, 12,000 on Enterprise), with extra actions billed. The server uses an API key, so store it like a password.
Starter prompt
Draft one Freshdesk ticket per issue in the list below, with a subject, a short description, a priority and the requester's email. Show me the drafts as a table and wait. After I approve, create only the approved tickets with the Freshdesk MCP server and give me the ticket numbers.

Readiness considers the connection evidence and unresolved steps. Confirmed: documented access and the proposed steps meet the recorded requirements. MCP and API pairings require an explicit reviewed platform note; a named plugin or CLI alone does not confirm MCP. Inferred: an explicit page note describes a plausible pairing that still needs testing. To verify: a connection or step is unresolved. An API and code execution alone do not establish compatible network access, credentials or permissions. None of this is IonBin testing.
What we checked (2026-10-18)
Freshdesk MCP server. Freshworks’ MCP server exposes Freshdesk capabilities, such as creating tickets, through its public APIs. Authentication is by API key only, and an action is one successful tool call.
Limits. Included MCP actions per account each year are 1,200 on Growth, 6,000 on Pro and 12,000 on Enterprise, with per-minute rate limits of 25, 50 and 100. These limits took effect on October 5, 2026.
Set it up
Create an API key for an agent account with only the permissions it needs.
Connect the Freshdesk MCP server in Claude.
Paste the issue list, run the prompt above and edit the drafts.
Check the new tickets in Freshdesk and keep an eye on action usage in your account.
Pilot it on a small sample first, and keep the human step even when the output looks right. This is a proposed sequence based on documented tools, not a tested account integration.
