Writesonic MCP queries GEO data: brand visibility across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and more, plus citations, sentiment and competitor benchmarks. It can also create and edit tracked prompts. Setup needs a paid plan and a project with tracked prompts. On Claude Team or Enterprise, only Owners can add the connector.
Perplexity prohibits robots and scrapers in its terms. For repeat checks, use its Agent API, which answers with real-time web search and inline citations.
Set it up
In Claude, add a custom connector named Writesonic with the server URL https://mcp.writesonic.com/mcp, then sign in to Writesonic to authorize it. ChatGPT needs Developer Mode for custom connectors.
Make sure your Writesonic project already tracks the buyer questions you care about. The MCP server reads tracked prompts; it can also create new ones.
Ask for gaps: prompts where competitors appear and you don’t, and the third-party pages AI answers cite instead of yours.
Re-run the same questions in Perplexity by hand, or through its Agent API for a scheduled check.
