What we checked
TurboTax in ChatGPT. Intuit’s support page says the app can estimate your refund or taxes owed from basic details (age, wages, filing status, dependents and withholdings), show TurboTax products and filing methods for your situation, connect you with live tax experts, and build a personalized document checklist. With a TurboTax account you can upload documents from the checklist into your account. You connect it from Apps in ChatGPT by searching for Intuit TurboTax. It supports US federal taxes for 2025.
Pricing. TurboTax Online lists $0 to $139 to file yourself, $59 to $209 with on-demand expert help, and state additional for paid products (checked 2026-10-17). Free Edition covers simple returns only: Intuit says, for example, that investment sales need an upgrade. Use Intuit’s own pages to see which product you qualify for.
