Qualify leads with a bot, then book the call

Sales, CRM & outreach · Customer support · checked 2026-10-17

A Botpress bot asks a few qualifying questions and sends good-fit leads your Cal.com booking link, so they can book the call themselves. You review the qualification rules each month.

What we checked (2026-10-17)

  • Botpress bots can answer from a knowledge base built from websites, documents and tables, and ask structured questions. The free plan includes 100 conversations, and Plus is $150 a month billed annually.
  • Cal.com links are pre-set meeting types you share with attendees. Cal.com can add bookings to a connected calendar automatically. It’s $0 for one user.
  • The hand-off here is simply the bot sharing your booking link. We didn’t find a native Botpress integration for Cal.com. If you need the lead’s answers on the booking, add them as booking questions in Cal.com.

Set it up

  1. Write three to five qualifying questions, such as company size, use case and timeline, and decide what counts as a good fit.
  2. Build the flow in Botpress. Good fits get the booking link, and everyone else gets a helpful resource or an email capture.
  3. Test the bot with a fit lead and a non-fit lead.
  4. Each month, read a sample of transcripts and adjust the rules. Make sure people who don’t qualify still get a clear next step.
