Visual builder for multi-step automation scenarios across apps, billed in credits. A hosted MCP server lets AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT run scenarios, and scenarios can be exported and imported as JSON blueprints.

Best for
  • Multi-step, branching scenarios built visually
  • Running Make scenarios from an AI client over MCP
Not for
  • Teams that need predictable per-run costs (each module action consumes credits)

Top use cases

  • Multi-step, branching scenarios built visually
  • Running Make scenarios from an AI client over MCP

In depth

Plans

With the credit slider at 10,000 credits a month, Make lists Free ($0, 1,000 credits/month), Core ($12 billed annually, $16 monthly), Pro ($21 annually, $28 monthly), Teams ($38 annually, $51 monthly) and custom-priced Enterprise. Prices scale with the credit level; annual billing saves 25%. Make's FAQ says credits became the billing unit on August 27. Checked 2026-10-17. source ↗

Make MCP

Make's hosted MCP server lets AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT run scenarios and, on paid plans, view and modify scenarios, connections, webhooks and data stores. Connect with OAuth or an MCP token. source ↗

Credits

Make bills in credits: most module actions use one credit, and the Free plan includes 1,000 credits a month. Credits expire at the end of the term. source ↗

Blueprints

Scenarios export as .json blueprints that can be imported into a new scenario (under 2 MB) or copied as JSON text to paste elsewhere. Connections are reconfigured after import. source ↗

How to use it with AI

How Make connects to each AI platform: native connector or MCP, API through code the agent writes, browser control, or file upload.

PlatformMCP / connectorAPI (agent-written code)BrowserUpload / export

Confirmed means both the tool's and the platform's official docs describe that route (links in the cell); IonBin has not tested every pairing. Not documented means it may work, but no official docs describe that route end to end. Checked Oct 17, 2026.
