Make a video with Claude and PlayPlay, then launch it on MNTN
Marketing content & social · checked 2026-10-16
Claude writes the script and the 15- and 30-second cuts, PlayPlay turns the script into an on-brand video in the browser, and you upload the export to MNTN to launch a connected-TV campaign after review. We found no public PlayPlay API, and MNTN’s published API covers reporting and batch exports only, so creation and upload are browser steps today.

Goal
Go from a campaign brief to a live connected-TV (CTV) ad in one working session, with brand context loaded up front and a human sign-off before launch.
Turns the script into a draft video with its AI Video Assistant: submit the script as a prompt or upload it as a document, and the assistant generates visuals, media, text and music you then edit
No public PlayPlay API or MCP server found, so this is a hands-on browser step.
Generates the video in HD and downloads it. A 16:9 project exports at 1920×1080 and 25 fps, which fit MNTN’s 16:9, 1920×1080-or-higher and constant 25 fps requirements
Not confirmed in PlayPlay’s docs: the file container (MNTN takes .mp4 or .mov), the bit rate (MNTN asks for 15–30 Mbps) and AAC audio. Check the downloaded file before upload.
Confirmed means the vendor documents it (linked). It doesn't mean IonBin has tested it. AI-platform and human steps need no source.
Human approval
You approve the final cut before upload and launch the campaign yourself in MNTN. Claude never publishes.
Watch out for
PlayPlay: "Generates the video in HD and downloads it. A 16:9 project exports at 1920×1080 and 25 fps, which fit MNTN’s 16:9, 1920×1080-or-higher and constant 25 fps requirements" is not confirmed in vendor docs yet. Test it before relying on it.
Starter prompt
Goal: Go from a campaign brief to a live connected-TV (CTV) ad in one working session, with brand context loaded up front and a human sign-off before launch. Tools involved: Notion or your brand folder, Claude, PlayPlay, MNTN. Your part: supplies brand voice, offer, audience and past campaign notes to claude; writes the script, storyboard and on-screen text, plus exact 15-second and 30-second cuts. Work step by step, show me each draft or proposed change, and wait for my approval before anything is sent, published, signed, filed or changed in a live system.

Computed from the MCP and API steps only: "Confirmed" needs the tool's docs to name the platform and the platform to support the connection. Browser, upload and human steps work from any platform.
Why it works
Claude handles the part that takes longest: turning a brief into a tight script with timed cut-downs. PlayPlay handles brand templates and rendering. MNTN measures results with Verified Visits, so the next script can respond to real data.
Today’s limits
PlayPlay is a browser step. We found no public API or MCP server in PlayPlay’s site or help center.
MNTN upload is a browser step. MNTN’s published API 3.0 reference has two parts, a Reporting API and an Async Batch Export API, and neither has a creative-upload endpoint.
Want a render step with an MCP server? See script to avatar video with Synthesia or HeyGen.
Brand context
Load voice, offers and audience before the script step. The brand-context layer workflow covers three public options.
File checks before upload
MNTN rejects TV commercials that miss its technical specs. PlayPlay documents 1920×1080 at 25 fps for 16:9 projects, which matches MNTN’s resolution and frame-rate rules. MNTN also asks for a constant frame rate, a 15–30 Mbps bit rate, AAC audio (audio is required) and an .mp4 or .mov file up to 4 GB. PlayPlay doesn’t document those last settings, so check the downloaded file before you upload it. MNTN suggests its Dropbox option for files over 200 MB.
