Robot-written cards and notes in real pen, ordered one at a time or in baskets through an API, with a Claude connector listed on its site. Business plans include API access.

Best for
  • Small batches of personal thank-you or intro notes
  • Mail you have approved one by one
Not for
  • Mass mailings where a printed letter is cheaper
  • Messages you haven't read before they're sent

Top use cases

  • Place a single-step card order through the API source ↗
  • Queue several cards in a basket and send them together source ↗
  • Ask Claude to pick a card and draft the message, with handwriting previews source ↗

In depth

API

Use an API key for new integrations; legacy password sign-in is deprecated. The API supports orders, baskets and catalog queries. Test mode accepts orders without fulfillment and authorizes payments without capturing them, so a temporary pending authorization can still appear. source ↗

Claude connector

The official tutorial documents a remote MCP server and account authorization in Claude. It recommends checking the message, addresses, basket price, postage and send date before explicitly ordering; previews are a review step, not a guarantee against incorrect mail. source ↗

Pricing

Retail cards cost $3.75 plus postage. Business Pro displays $449 monthly or a $374 monthly equivalent with annual billing, plus $1.99 per card and postage. The page footnote says monthly Business plans are billed every four weeks. Confirm the annual total and extras at checkout; domestic postage follows USPS rates and international orders have a manual-processing surcharge. source ↗

How to use it with AI

How Handwrytten connects to each AI platform: native connector or MCP, API through code the agent writes, browser control, or file upload.

Confirmed is reserved for evidence of the specific connection route. The current named integrations include plugins, skills and CLIs, so a named platform alone does not confirm MCP or a native connector. Inferred means each side documents a relevant capability, but no document describes the pairing. Code execution still needs network and credential access; file handling still needs a compatible format and transfer direction. Not documented means the records do not establish the route. IonBin has not tested these pairings. Recorded Oct 18, 2026.

LevelStatusDetail / source
Native connector / MCPYes Official docs ↗ — official remote MCP endpoint with account authorization and a documented Claude setup.
API / CLIYes Official docs ↗ — API keys support orders, baskets and card catalog; login/password authentication is deprecated.
Browser / manualNo Browser access is recorded alongside a documented programmatic route.
File upload / importYes Official docs ↗ — Enterprise lists managed bulk uploads. API basket orders are a separate mechanism, not evidence of file import.

Connection capabilities to compare

An official MCP server is documented for this tool. These platforms separately document MCP client support: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini (Google), Google Antigravity, Grok, Grok Bot, Lindy, LM Studio, Mistral Vibe, OpenAI Codex. This inventory does not establish compatible transport, authentication or actions for a pairing. Check the connection matrix and linked sources.

Automation hubs to assess for a custom API connection: Gumloop, Make, n8n, Zapier. Verify credentials, supported requests, limits and error handling; no configured integration is implied.
