Builds AI support agents trained on your own content, embedded on your site. Its remote MCP server lets AI assistants list agents, manage training sources, read conversations and handle help desk tickets; an API is also documented.

Best for
  • Answering repeat questions from your docs on your website
Not for
  • Regulated advice where answers need human sign-off

Top use cases

  • Embed an AI agent trained on your content; manage it through the API source ↗
  • Manage an agent's training sources and read conversations from an AI assistant source ↗
  • Let the agent call your own API with a Custom Action source ↗
  • Send lead and form submissions to your systems by webhook source ↗

In depth

Plans

Chatbase lists Hobby ($32/month billed yearly, $40 monthly; 700 message credits), Standard ($120 yearly, $150 monthly; 4,000 credits, adds API access and the help desk inbox), Pro ($400 yearly, $500 monthly; 15,000 credits) and custom-priced Enterprise. Each plan has a 7-day trial; extra credits cost $40 per 1,000. Checked 2026-10-17. source ↗

Actions and webhooks

Custom Actions call an external HTTPS API and pass the JSON response (up to 20KB) back to the agent, or show a widget. Webhooks are set on the action that produces the event, such as lead or custom-form submissions. source ↗

MCP

The MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and other clients over OAuth 2.1, with no API key to paste. source ↗

How to use it with AI

How Chatbase connects to each AI platform: native connector or MCP, API through code the agent writes, browser control, or file upload.

Google Antigravity Not documented Chatbase has an official MCP server and Google Antigravity supports MCP, but Chatbase's docs don't name this pairing. Auth setup may differ. Chatbase MCP docs ↗Google Antigravity MCP docs ↗ Confirmed Google Antigravity can run code; Chatbase publishes an API. Chatbase API ↗Google Antigravity docs ↗ Confirmed Browser subagent via /browser, documented as an Antigravity App feature; the IDE has separate browser docs Google Antigravity browser docs ↗ Confirmed Export from Chatbase, then works on local projects and worktrees Google Antigravity docs ↗

Chatbase's docs also name: ChatGPT.

Confirmed means both the tool's and the platform's official docs describe that route (links in the cell); IonBin has not tested every pairing. Not documented means it may work, but no official docs describe that route end to end. Checked Oct 17, 2026.
