Help Scout
Customer supportA shared inbox and help desk for small teams, with a free plan. Its official MCP server is read-only: each person signs in with their own account, so an AI client sees only what that user can see.

A help desk for ticketing, messaging and AI agents. Admins can connect outside MCP servers and use their tools in action flows; billing uses action credits.
Admins add MCP server connections in Admin Center. Zendesk discovers up to 250 tools per server, and admins pick which ones action flows can use. Only OAuth and HTTP servers are supported. Step outputs are kept for seven days, and tool calls consume action credits. source ↗
Annual pricing is $19 for Support Team, $55 for Suite Team and $115 for Suite Professional per agent a month. Monthly billing is $25, $69 and $149. AI agent resolutions beyond the included amount are sold separately. Checked 2026-10-18. source ↗
How Zendesk connects to each AI platform: native connector or MCP, API through code the agent writes, browser control, or file upload.
| Platform | MCP / connector | API (agent-written code) | Browser | Upload / export |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claude (incl. Claude Code) | Not documented Zendesk documents an MCP client (it connects out to MCP servers). An official Zendesk-hosted server for outside AI clients wasn't confirmed in the pages reviewed (2026-10-18). | Not documented Claude (incl. Claude Code): Claude Code edits files and runs commands Zendesk publishes an API, but this pairing still needs network, authentication and execution-scope checks. Zendesk API ↗Claude (incl. Claude Code) browser docs ↗ | Not documented Verify which side exports and which imports, supported formats and permissions. Zendesk's recorded upload/import status is to-verify; Claude (incl. Claude Code)'s file status is yes. These flags do not establish a file-transfer route. Claude (incl. Claude Code) file docs ↗ |
| OpenAI Codex | Not documented Zendesk documents an MCP client (it connects out to MCP servers). An official Zendesk-hosted server for outside AI clients wasn't confirmed in the pages reviewed (2026-10-18). | Not documented OpenAI Codex: Edits files and runs commands locally; cloud tasks run in isolated workspaces Zendesk publishes an API, but this pairing still needs network, authentication and execution-scope checks. An official Zendesk-hosted server for outside AI clients wasn't confirmed in the pages reviewed (2026-10-18). | Not documented Google Antigravity: Agents edit code and run tasks Zendesk publishes an API, but this pairing still needs network, authentication and execution-scope checks. Zendesk API ↗Google Antigravity docs ↗ | Inferred The /browser guide documents App and CLI support through Chrome DevTools MCP; the overview comparison conflicts on CLI availability. IDE browser features are separate. Zendesk is a web app; the pairing itself is not documented. Confirmed is reserved for evidence of the specific connection route. The current named integrations include plugins, skills and CLIs, so a named platform alone does not confirm MCP or a native connector. Inferred means each side documents a relevant capability, but no document describes the pairing. Code execution still needs network and credential access; file handling still needs a compatible format and transfer direction. Not documented means the records do not establish the route. IonBin has not tested these pairings. Recorded Oct 18, 2026.
