What it is
This skill gives an agent diagnostic routines for Google Ads accounts: conversion or conversion-value loss, low lead flow and impression share lost to budget or ad rank. It runs GAQL queries through the Google Ads MCP server's search tool, compares a recent period with a prior one, and checks change history and offline conversion uploads. Without the MCP server, it writes out the queries for you to run.
Why you might use it
Use it when an ad account's results drop and you want a structured first look at whether traffic, conversion rate, budget or ranking changed. It lists common query gotchas, such as cost reported in micros. Budget and bid decisions stay with you.

Explain a conversion drop
Example request
Conversions fell this week. Compare the last 7 days with the prior 7 by campaign and device, check impression share, and list recent change events. Don't suggest edits yet.
What to look for. A short diagnosis naming which campaigns and devices changed and whether budget or rank limited impression share.
Before you rely on it. Ads and Analytics count conversions differently. Confirm the drop in the Google Ads interface before acting.
Check offline upload health
Example request
Check whether our offline conversion uploads are succeeding.
What to look for. A per-action summary of successful versus total events and their status.
Before you rely on it. An empty result can simply mean the account doesn't use offline uploads.

What it asks of your environment.
Requirements
- The Google Ads MCP server (search, list_accessible_customers, get_resource_metadata), configured with Google Ads API access.
- Access to the client accounts being diagnosed.
Permissions & data access
- Reads account, campaign, change-event and upload-summary data through GAQL queries.
- The skill doesn't change campaigns. Any remediation is a separate step you take.
Instructions alone do not enforce a sandbox. The agent host, connected tools and approvals determine what the skill can actually read, change or send.
