Kitbitz
Search hand-drawn illustrations and check the publisher's asset terms.
Understand the resource
What it is.
Kitbitz is a searchable illustration library whose public documentation describes SVG and PNG downloads, along with Figma and read-only MCP access. Its license page distinguishes the original illustration assets from the proprietary platform and integration code, which matters when deciding what can be reused.
When it is useful
You are comparing a drawn illustration voice for onboarding or an empty state.
A proposed application
Put it to work.
This example illustrates a possible use. The proposed workflow and expected result are separate from the bounded checks recorded below.
Try this
Verify a selected asset’s terms, then test its detail and tone with your own text at mobile size.
Result to aim for
An illustration shortlist with source and license records, ready for file-level and layout checks.
Before you start
What you need.
- A browser for searching; inspect the selected asset and its license before production use.
- Separate setup and permission review for the Figma or MCP workflows, which were not tested here.
The practical boundaries
What to watch for.
- The publisher labels its original illustration assets CC0 1.0; that does not cover all platform code, metadata, third-party marks or other rights.
- Search results can include broader semantic matches, so inspect the actual artwork rather than relying on a title match.
Review record
What we could establish.
- Searching dragon returned six visible asset actions, including several dragon-themed items and broader related illustrations. The documentation and license page were reviewed; downloads, Figma and MCP were not exercised.
The source-review notes describe documentation and identity. The account-free evaluation below records exactly which public interaction or local fixture was checked, what happened, and what remains untested.
Check current access, terms, licensing and data handling before using a resource with your own material.
Runtime and security evaluation
What the evaluation covers.
Public illustration search worked and primary format/license documentation was readable. Asset files and integration workflows were not tested.
Methods: Public HTTP response · Public browser sample · Source review. A completed check covers the stated sample; it is not a safety certification.
- Target

- Version or capture
- Unversioned public page observed 2026-10-19
- Integrity scope
- SHA-256 8e05c6ec83191d0a9f9f0dbba79c3bff105ae35b2bc1c9b9cc9c921711b7296a of one initial HTML response (7039 bytes). This does not fingerprint the entire application or its dependencies.
Test conditions
- Windows; Chrome 155.0.8059.82 headless via Playwright, fresh isolated contexts with a 1365 × 900 viewport.
- Reduced motion requested. GET/HEAD requests allowed; other methods and WebSocket connections blocked.
- No owner browser profile, account, credentials, purchase, upload, private fixture or service write.
Individual checks and observations
Illustration search
passPublic browser sample: Enter dragon in the public search combobox.
Observed: Six visible asset actions appeared, including Dragon Sign and Dragon Egg alongside broader related illustrations.
Primary documentation
passSource review: Read the publisher's getting-started and license pages.
Observed: The pages describe SVG/PNG downloads and distinguish original illustration assets from platform and integration code.
Asset and integration workflows
not-runPublic browser sample: Download an asset or connect Figma/MCP.
Observed: No asset download, plugin connection or MCP call was performed.
Security findings and boundaries
Public search, primary documentation and passive request observations; no integration connection.
Documented · info
Asset and code licensing are separate
The publisher's license page identifies original illustration assets as CC0 1.0 while reserving platform, plugin, MCP source, metadata and documentation. This reports the publisher's terms, not a legal clearance for every use.
Practical advice · caution
Review integrations separately
A public catalog search does not verify the Figma plugin or MCP's installation, permissions, data access or runtime behavior.
Practical caveats
- Keep an asset's source and current license with the project; third-party trademark or publicity rights may still matter.
- Check file structure, visual fit and accessible treatment after choosing a particular illustration.
What remains untested
- One query and primary documentation only; no asset bytes, installation, Figma or MCP runtime.
- No broad content-rights, dependency, accessibility or backend audit.
Security limits
- Passive public-page observations and the stated bounded sample only; no exploitation, authenticated authorization, backend, retention or comprehensive dependency audit.
- Request blocking changes application behavior; no secure/safe certification is implied.
