Motion & effects / SVG loading indicators

Circle Loaders

Use a self-contained animated SVG for a waiting state.

What this status means

Understand the resource

What it is.

Circle Loaders presents circular indicators with inline SVG markup, keyframes and color settings. The source examples make the asset inspectable without requiring an entire animation package.

When it is useful

A short background wait needs a compact visual cue.

A proposed application

Put it to work.

This example illustrates a possible use. The proposed workflow and expected result are separate from the bounded checks recorded below.

Try this

Place one loader beside a textual loading message and show a recovery action if the request fails.

Result to aim for

A consistent loading state with a visible endpoint.

Before you start

What you need.

  • SVG/CSS support and application logic for completion, failure and cancellation.

The practical boundaries

What to watch for.

  • A spinner communicates activity, not percentage complete or a guaranteed finish time.
  • Check announcements, static fallback and animation duration in the receiving interface.

Review record

What we could establish.

  • Public primary documentation and the bounded account-free checks below were reviewed. Selecting 2× halved the observed animation-duration samples from 2400 to 1200 milliseconds. The page’s counted CSS animations stopped when reduced motion was requested.
Source coverage and runtime coverage are separate

The source-review notes describe documentation and identity. The account-free evaluation below records exactly which public interaction or local fixture was checked, what happened, and what remains untested.

Check current access, terms, licensing and data handling before using a resource with your own material.

Runtime and security evaluation

What the evaluation covers.

Bounded runtime checkedAccount-free ·

Selecting 2× halved the observed animation-duration samples from 2400 to 1200 milliseconds. The page’s counted CSS animations stopped when reduced motion was requested.

Methods: Public HTTP response · Public browser sample. A completed check covers the stated sample; it is not a safety certification.

Test conditions

  • Chromium 155.0.8059.82 on Windows; fresh temporary profile and fresh account-free contexts.
  • Public HTTPS GET/HEAD requests only; telemetry/auth routes and WebSockets blocked. No account storage or credential environment variables.

Individual checks and observations

  1. Public document and DOM

    pass

Public browser sample: Fresh Chromium GET, then inspect rendered controls after hydration delay

Observed: HTTP 200; 55 captured button labels; 0 inputs; 0 canvases.

  2. Loader speed control

    pass

Public browser sample: Activate 2x playback and inspect CSS animation durations

    Observed: Duration samples [2400,2400,2400,2400,2400,2400,2400,2400] -> [1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200].

Security findings and boundaries

Passive inspection of the public response headers, requested hosts and the named browser sample. No active exploitation, authenticated permissions test or complete security audit.

Observed · caution

Motion behavior is only part of a loading state

The sampled speed control and media preference changed animation behavior. They do not provide application completion, timeout, failure or accessible status semantics.

Practical caveats

  • Pair the visual loader with useful status text, bounded waiting and a way to recover from failure.
  • Pin and recheck the selected version or sample before adoption; the observations apply only to the scope and date shown.

What remains untested

  • No downloaded SVG integration, screen-reader announcements, complete collection or frame-rate test.
  • Fresh-browser restrictions can affect external assets and hydration. Initial failed selectors and limited probes remain in the evidence; they are not blanket product failures.

Security limits

  • No authenticated workspace, private content, production backend permissions or data-retention verification.
  • No downloaded SVG integration, screen-reader announcements, complete collection or frame-rate test.
